Do It Yourself SPOT Removal
We provide a 16 OZ bottle of our handmade, excellent carpet spot
remover at no charge when we come out to you. We also provide
free, unlimited refills for our valued repeat customers at our La
Jolla location.
It may sound amazing but most spots on carpets can be removed by
this magical carpet spot remover. Be sure and follow the
instructions on the bottle.
Do it Yourself STAIN Removal
For most stain-causing accidents (such as wine spills, pet
accidents, ink, crayon marks, coffee stains, etc.) we invite you
to call for a specialized cleaning recommendation.
If you attempt to clean a stain-causing accident yourself, its
important to blot up all excess moisture with a paper towel.
Then, try to clean a tiny area with our spot remover (no hard
rubbing). Blot again and dry with a hair dryer. If you are not
successful at removing the stain in this small area, stop working
on it at this point and give us a call. If you are successful,
the next step is to clean the whole stain from outside to inside
so that the stain will not spread.
The reason we do not recommend tackling a stain outright is
because the more you work on it and cannot remove it, the more
you set the stain. Then it will either be very difficult to
remove -even by us who do this professionally, or it can become a
permanent stain altogether. Do not use unproven salt or other
cleaning concoctions since these also can have the same effect on
stains.
