Buckling carpet? Carpet shrinkage? Seams that have pulled apart?
Your carpet may be buckling
or pulling away from walls and doors. Or perhaps your carpet seams
have pulled apart. This is due to one of three reasons; poor
installation, the sliding of heavy furniture or repeated water
saturation. This last cause is one more reason to steer clear of Steam
Cleaning.
Steam Cleaning is a commonly used carpet cleaning method but it
subjects carpet to a whole lot of moisture. Excessive moisture is
one reason carpets weaken and buckle. In addition, an air pocket is created when a carpet's backing
is separated from its carpet pad. While the
carpet's surface eventually will dry, this air pocket may well
contain trapped moisture making mold growth possible.
We have a process that will stretch carpet to correct minor carpet
buckling. However for major buckling, serious carpet seam problems
and whole room carpet stretching we have proven carpet installers

Permanent stains or carpet damage?
As you can imagine, we have seen quite a lot of stains and spills
in our 38+ years of cleaning carpets in San Diego. However, in all
those years only about 5% of the stains we've seen are deemed
permanent. Bleach stains, dyes, ink, some extreme pet stains
and all other stains that irrevocably extract color
fall into this category.

for patching carpet lies in closet spaces.
With our expert touch and a little carpet raking, casual observers are
usually unable to tell any repair work was done on most
carpets. Sometimes the spot is more obvious because the
patch looks newer than the rest of the carpet. Fortunately, daily
use and natural carpet fading will help blend in even such patches
in time.
